Mrs. D’Jay first became known for growing women’s natural hair long and healthy through protective styling. She developed the Seamless Sew-In and perfected it with the team she trained — every stylist on our team learns it from her.
Two braid patterns, chosen for your head and your look — so your install lies flat and natural. Want it full and voluminous instead? We build it that way.

Three finishes. One that’s right for you.
Natural leave-out — a small amount of your own hair is left out and blended over the tracks. Closure — a closure covers your part, so you don’t need leave-out. Frontal — a frontal covers your full hairline from ear to ear for the most versatile parting and styling. We choose your finish with you — based on your texture, your hairline and how you live, not on a trend.

An install should never hurt. If you feel pain, pulling or irritation, call us right away — don’t wait for your next appointment.
A sew-in doesn’t guarantee growth or treat hair loss. What it does is give your natural hair a break from daily styling, while our Restore & Grow Regimen keeps it cleansed and moisturized. If you’re experiencing hair loss, we recommend speaking with a dermatologist — and our Crown Transformation may be a better fit.
Your foundation, your stitching and your care. We use two braid patterns, chosen for your head, so your install lies flat and natural, and invisible stitching techniques for a polished finish. Prefer more volume? We can build that too.
Our installs are low-tension and protective — designed to be gentle on your natural hair. Tell us if anything ever feels tight, and we’ll adjust it right away.
Hair Food is Mrs. D’Jay’s own hair care, made for our clients. We use it throughout your Restore & Grow Regimen to nourish your hair and scalp.
It shouldn’t. Tell us during your install if anything feels tight so we can adjust it right away. If you feel pain or irritation after you leave, contact us immediately — don’t wait for maintenance.
Every head of hair is different, so we don’t give a blanket number. You’ll leave with a personalized maintenance and removal plan made for your hair.
It depends on your experience, your finish and your hair. We’ll confirm your appointment time at your consultation so you can plan your day.
We offer all three. A natural leave-out blends a little of your own hair over the tracks, a closure covers your part, and a frontal covers your hairline from ear to ear. We’ll help you choose at your consultation based on your texture, your hairline and your lifestyle.
